Delivery Driver - Class D

Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge, LA is currently seeking candidates for a Delivery Driver - Class D For a local cleaning supply distribution Company in Baton Rouge!

Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 6:30AM-4:30PM | LONG-TERM - TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUINTY!! Salary: $17.00-$20.00/HR BOE

Position Overview: We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused individual to work in a busy warehouse and delivery environment. This role combines warehouse duties with local delivery driving. The ideal candidate will have prior driving experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to represent the company professionally while interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform local deliveries to customers using a box truck
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Stock and organize materials within the warehouse
• Pull and prepare orders for delivery and distribution utilizing sit down forklift
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep and cleanliness
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company

Qualifications:

• Previous driving experience required
• Class D Chauffeur’s License required
• Medical DOT Card
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Basic warehouse experience required

Requirements:

• 5-panel drug test required
• Background check required
• MVR screening required
