Delivery Driver

Our client, a company in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a CDL-A Driver for a temporary. Pay is $20-$25/HR. Duties for the CDL-A Driver position include:

• Delivering and offloading portable storage containers at residential and commercial properties using a rollback truck and winch cable system.
• Driving 30 ft bobtails, 53ft or 30 ft flatbed delivering Storage Containers to commercial and residential sites
• Loading and unloading the truck – pushing up to 50+LBS
• Many deliveries involve navigating around fences, gates, trees, sprinkler systems, parked vehicles, narrow driveways, and other obstacles

Requirements for the CDL-A Driver position are:

• Have valid TX CDL-A license and DOT Medical Card, with a good driving record
• At least 5 years CDL driving experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and otherwise be physically fit
• We anticipate the position averaging approximately 5–6 hours per day, although hours may fluctuate depending on delivery volume and operational needs
• Strong communication skills
• Rollback, Tow Truck operation with Cable or winch systems experience
