Location: Waterloo, IA Pay: $19.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Type: Full-Time Opportunity

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Delivery Driver to join a local team. This position combines delivery driving, warehouse responsibilities, shipping and receiving, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and comfortable working both in the warehouse and directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to customers in a professional and timely manner
• Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments
• Put inventory away and maintain organized warehouse storage
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
• Use RF scanners and computer systems to track inventory and orders
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and customer pickups

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse and delivery experience required
• 3-4 years of material handling experience preferred
• 3-4 years of customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attendance record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 70-100 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to load and unload materials regularly
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and delivery environments
