Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Work Location: Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Configuration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting computer systems and related hardware components. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure desktop computers, hardware components, and peripheral devices.
• Install operating systems, software applications, and hardware drivers.
• Integrate electronic components including circuit boards, disk drives, storage devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware or system configuration issues.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Complete required documentation related to builds, repairs, shipping, and component replacements.
• Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Assist with process improvements and participate in achieving key performance metrics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience with computer hardware, electronics, assembly, or technical repair is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of computer components and operating systems.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• A+ Certification or other technical certifications are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail when working with electronic components.
