CNC Machinist/Programmer.

Location: Duncan, SC. Pay: $28.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Job Description.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to develop, optimize, and operate CNC machining programs in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with SolidWorks CAM, Haas CNC mills, and hands-on G-code editing to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities.

• Develop, simulate, and optimize 3-axis CNC toolpaths using SolidWorks CAM.

• Set up, adjust, and operate Haas CNC mills.

• Manage tool changes, work offsets, tool offsets, and tool design parameters at the machine controller.

• Edit and troubleshoot G-code directly at the machine to correct programming errors and improve machining performance.

• Optimize cycle times and adjust programs to accommodate material variations.

• Ensure machined components meet quality and dimensional specifications.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CNC machining and programming.

• Proficiency with SolidWorks CAM and 3-axis toolpath programming.

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills.

• Ability to read, edit, and troubleshoot G-code.

• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, offsets, and precision measurements.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
