What You'll Do

Lead a small team of CNC and Swiss machine operators Set up and operate Vertical CNC and Swiss Lathe machines Manage tooling inventory and order replacement tools as needed Lead ISO awareness initiatives and training within the department Develop and maintain work instructions that meet ISO standards Collaborate with production planning to ensure schedules meet customer demands Maintain visual production status boards and track job progress Drive process improvements in partnership with engineering teams Run machining operations while maintaining close tolerance and finish specifications Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and specifications Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot production issues Recommend tooling, fixture, and process improvements to increase efficiency and quality Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify finished parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company safety and quality standards

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of machine set-up and operator experience in a manufacturing environment High School Diploma or GED Previous CNC lead experience preferred Experience with machine shop practices and machining techniques Experience training and developing operators is highly preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong mathematical skills, including fractions and decimals Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively Positive attitude with a strong sense of accountability and ownership Ability to embody core values including drive, humility, ingenuity, integrity, and ownership
