Pay: $21.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Location: Fullerton, CA

A company in the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support its warehouse shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience handling freight, loading and unloading containers, inspecting shipments, and operating a forklift safely and efficiently.

This position requires at least 6 months of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. The position is safety-sensitive and requires a 5-panel drug screen, including THC. You will be applying through Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning staffing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely load and unload freight and shipping containers.

• Receive, inspect, stage, and prepare incoming freight for shipment.

• Document damaged or compromised freight and take photographs as needed.

• Follow all shipping, receiving, loading, and company safety procedures.

• Inspect forklifts daily and report any issues.

• Complete shipping documentation, daily reports, and department activity reports accurately.

• Use handheld devices for receiving and loading activities.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area.

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily deadlines.

Experience & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 6 months of related experience required.

• Forklift operating experience.

• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

• Basic math skills, including working with weights, measurements, and quantities.

• Ability to complete routine reports and documentation.

• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and teamwork.

• Forklift certification and hazardous handling certification through company training, as required.

• Must complete a 5-panel drug screen, including THC, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with assistance available when needed.

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and move throughout the warehouse.

• Comfortable working around moving machinery, noise, vibration, fumes, and varying outdoor weather conditions.

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established safety procedures.
