Carpenter

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Carpenter position for an Athens, TX area company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform general carpentry and construction work on various outdoor projects.

• Dig ditches, set and level poles, and prepare areas for construction.

• Build and install retaining walls, fences, docks, seawalls, and other carpentry structures.

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for construction projects.

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.

• Travel to various job sites throughout East Texas.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous experience in carpentry, construction, welding, or fabrication.

• Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install materials.

• Must have a reliable personal truck and own tools.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and excellent attendance.

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout East Texas.

• Flexibility with work hours, including earlier start times as temperatures increase.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

• Work locations vary throughout East Texas.

• Fuel expenses are covered for job sites located more than 30 minutes away.

• Work schedules may shift to earlier hours during warmer months.
