Auto Body Technician

Our client, a well-established, family-owned and operated collision shop in Newton, MA, is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join their team. This is a busy, well-equipped shop with easy access to the Mass Pike and Route 128.

Pay: $35.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch Location: Newton, MA

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition
• Perform collision and auto body repairs, including bodywork and painting
• Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair process
• Remove, replace, and repair damaged body panels and components
• Prepare vehicles for painting and perform paint-related work as needed
• Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards
• Work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced collision shop
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician, Bodyman, or Automotive Painter
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair and collision restoration
• Ability to perform quality work efficiently and accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
