Position Summary

This position is with one of our clients, at their Pacific, MO facility; Express is recruiting on their behalf. The Assembler builds machines using hand tools, working from instructions to meet daily output and quality targets.

2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pay

$17.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble machines and components using hand tools.
• Follow work instructions and assembly drawings to build units correctly the first time.
• Check fit and alignment as you go, and flag anything out of spec.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all client safety and PPE rules.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Comfortable using hand tools and doing repetitive hands-on work.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Steel toe shoes are required on the floor.
• Reliable attendance. Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Conditions and Pay

• Stand for a full shift; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Shop floor with moderate to loud noise, moving equipment and required PPE.
• Steel toe shoes required.
• $17.75 per hour, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
