Position: Highly Qualified Paraprofessional
Student Age Group: Elementary
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Contract to hire after 3 months contract
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Position Overview
Anoka-Hennepin School District is seeking Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals to support elementary students.
Openings are available across multiple special education programs:
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students receiving special education services.
- Assist students in classroom and learning activities.
- Support students with daily living needs as required.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:
- Pass the Minnesota Para Educator Certificate (Highly Qualified Para) Exam, or
- Have at least 60 college credits with official college transcripts.
