Senior Network & Cloud Automation Architect

As a Senior Network & Cloud Automation Architect, you’ll help shape resilient, modular solutions that support critical CTI strategic workstreams. Our client is seeking a senior engineer/architect who can lead complex technical requirements, drive end-to-end solution design and delivery, and elevate engineering practices across multiple automation and cloud IT initiatives. Job Title:Senior Network & Cloud Automation Architect Location:Hybrid (3 days onsite per week required) in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ Pay Range: $65-$68/hr What's the Job?

• Define an architectural vision and target operating environment that supports strategic outcomes across Business products and services.
• Lead design of complex technical requirements for SSPC (aka One day build), MRA recovery SIAI, ATLAS, and EDT workstreams, ensuring flexible, modular, and adaptable architecture.
• Deliver complex features and technology while enabling development efficiencies through technical thought leadership and multiple software implementations.
• Contribute to the architecture roadmap by evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions and aligning solution design with stakeholder objectives.
• Own end-to-end solution design and delivery, including defining non-functional requirements and designing for client resiliency. What's Needed?
• 7+ years of solid experience as a Software Engineer with experience across multiple frontend and backend languages (Python, Go, Yang, NSO, Ansible, Java, and Bash scripting).
• Experience leading software engineers to design and develop web-based software solutions and automation.
• Expertise in network-defined automation and/or cloud IT solutions, including CLI, API development, and integration with network and security products (e.g., Checkpoint & Fortinet firewalls, McAfee proxies, TippingPoint IDSs).
• Strong command of Flask and FASTAPI, plus multiprocessing and multithreading application development.
• Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming, including relational databases (SQLite, MySQL) with data modeling and query optimization. What's in it for me?
