We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and enterprise data warehouse development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions and enterprise data pipelines. Position Details
- Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
- Contract: 12+ Months
- Location: 100% Remote
- Pay Rate: $70- $75 /hr on W2
- Eligible States: Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), and New York (NY)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines.
- Develop data engineering solutions using Python and SQL.
- Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure data services for data integration and pipeline orchestration.
- Build, manage, and optimize workflows using Airflow, Informatica, or Automic.
- Perform SQL performance tuning and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
- Implement and maintain metadata management, data lineage, and data governance practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data initiatives. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall Data Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python development.
- Extensive experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse design and development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory / Azure Data Framework.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or Automic.
- Strong understanding of SQL performance tuning and data pipeline optimization.
- Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Pharma data.
