The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on Golang development experience, Temporal or Conductor workflow orchestration experience, and the ability to build reliable, fault-tolerant services using modern workflow orchestration technologies. Job Title: Golang Engineer with Temporal or Conductor workflow orchestration Location: Phoenix, Arizona (hybrid) Pay Range: 50-54/hr W2; 60-62/hr c2c

Duration: 6-12+ month contract What's the Job?

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed applications using Golang.
Build and manage workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal or Conductor, including workflow definitions, activities, task queues, and execution management.
Develop reliable, fault-tolerant applications that support long-running workflows, asynchronous processing, and distributed transactions.
Design and implement APIs, microservices, and service integrations to support enterprise application and platform capabilities.
Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, and distributed system issues across development and production environments. What's Needed?
Strong hands-on software development experience using Golang (Go), with demonstrated proficiency in developing production-grade applications and backend services.
Experience with Temporal or Conductor for workflow orchestration.
Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, including concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and memory management.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including asynchronous processing, service communication, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Experience with software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. What's in it for me?
Work on workflow-driven, distributed systems where reliability and fault tolerance are central to the solution.
Build durable, long-running workflows using Temporal or Conductor and apply workflow reliability patterns such as retries, timeouts, signals, queries, and versioning.
Collaborate with platform engineers, architects, and application teams to translate technical requirements into maintainable software.
Strengthen your engineering impact through code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate application functionality and reliability.
