1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Oswego, NY (CF – LP)

A 26-year-old male in the Oswego area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with learning more about money, making healthy choices, and learning more independent living and self-advocacy skills to be more independent.

He spends most of his time on the computer, he enjoys playing games on the computer, watching YouTube videos, watching movies, reading comics and other books.

The ideal candidate is reliable with a routine schedule. The ideal candidate is patient, creative and engaging.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-1.5 hours of service at a time between 12pm-4pm

Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Location: Oswego, NY

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
