Leach Operator Assistant

This job was posted by https://www.azjobconnection.gov : For more information, please see: https://www.azjobconnection.gov/jobs/7639698 Under the supervision of the Leaching Supervisor, the Leach Field Operator Assistant leads and supports operations, installation of piping and maintenance of the heap leach pad. Responsibilities: - Coordinate with SX plant operations in shut-down and start-up of solution distribution when needed - Perform day-to-day installation and maintenance of heap leach lines - Conduct solution application flow rate measurements - Maintain work area and equipment to ensure a clean and safe work environment - Prepare and maintain records according to job assignment - Produce maintenance requests and work orders from work area inspection sheets - Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (EPA, ADEQ, MSHA etc.) - Lead and participate in safety meetings within the department - Assist HSE with rework of SOPs as needed - Performs all duties in a safe and professional manner - Performs other duties as assigned
