This is a service-focused role in a healthcare environment. Professionalism, safety awareness,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Service & Communication

Greet and assist Veterans, patients, visitors, and staff with a calm, courteous, and

Provide clear directions regarding valet procedures, pick-up locations, and traffic flow.

Maintain respectful, trauma-informed, and disability-aware customer service in a medical

Coordinate with valets and supervisors to stage vehicles and support efficient retrieval.

Report hazards, near-misses, accidents, and safety concerns immediately to supervision

per site rules.

Safety & Site Compliance

Follow posted speed limits, pedestrian right-of-way requirements, and all facility

traffic/pedestrian safety procedures.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe staging areas (cones/signage as assigned).

Follow VA facility rules while on government property (including identification/badge

requirements where applicable).

Privacy & Professional Conduct

Maintain confidentiality in a healthcare environment (do not discuss patient information;

avoid unnecessary exposure to sensitive conversations).

Complete required VA privacy training as assigned based on job access and duties.

Required Qualifications

Customer service experience in hospitality, transportation, parking, security, or

healthcare-adjacent settings (preferred but not required).

Veterans and individuals with mobility limitations.

Ability to follow written/verbal procedures and safety instructions.

Driver Requirements (if driving is assigned)

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (per Everpark/client requirements).

Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicle types (automatic; manual preferred if applicable).

VA / Hospital Site Requirements (Contractor Compliance)

Because this role is performed on a VA medical campus, candidates must be able to meet

applicable on-site contractor requirements, which may include:

VA-issued identification/badge requirements while on government property.

Fingerprinting / background investigation steps as required for VA access and/or

credentialing.

Tuberculosis (TB) screening documentation (e.g., negative TB test within the prior

year and periodic renewal as required by VA processes).

Completion of any site-specific safety, privacy, or infection control

orientation/training required for onsite personnel.

Note: Specific badging/credentialing steps can vary by assignment and access level;

Everpark will provide instructions after conditional offer and assignment confirmation.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including outdoors.

Ability to push/pull wheelchairs and handle mobility equipment safely.

Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift/carry items associated with the role (e.g., mobility

Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work is primarily performed outdoors and around moving vehicles, pedestrians, and hospital

traffic zones. Exposure to varying weather conditions and high-activity periods is expected.

Schedule

Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on hospital

operations and coverage needs (facility operates 24/7 though services vary).

Overtime may be required based on operational demand and is paid per applicable law.
