The Plow & Hearth Shoppes at Madison are seeking friendly and energetic folks to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity with the possibility of becoming a full-time, benefit-eligible role in the future.

Our Madison Shoppes are a favorite destination for both local residents and visitors, and we are looking for team members who enjoy engaging with customers and creating a memorable shopping experience.

This role offers a dynamic work environment, allowing team members to work both indoors and outdoors throughout their shift.

This is a part-time position requiring flexible scheduling. Our busiest times, store events and promotions occur on weekends, so weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and products
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining the sales floor
• Help set up and maintain store displays
• Receive and process product deliveries
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside
• Support team sales goals and participate in team initiatives
• Willingness to work outside building and staging product as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask while assisting customers
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Retail or POS experience preferred
• Basic computer and math skills
• Basic mechanical/assembly aptitude preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical retail tasks such as bending, climbing ladders, and stocking
