We are a retail store serving local outdoor enthusiasts and international mountaineers alike. We operate the eCommerce site and physical store from the same location, offering high-quality outdoor gear, clothing, and footwear to customers both in-store and online. Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Retail & eCommerce Associate to join our small, collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday combining customer-facing sales with back-end eCommerce responsibilities. This position can be part-time or full-time depending on the applicant's needs. Key Responsibilities: In-Store Operations: · Greet customers and assist with product recommendations · Operate the cash register and process transactions · Receive, unpack, and inspect new inventory shipments · Count in-stock item quantities for inventory totals · Fold, organize, and stock merchandise on the sales floor · Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment · Assist with online order preparation eCommerce Operations: - Receive training to manage products listed on EverestGear.com - Add and remove items from online inventory as needed - Pull items from the sales floor and prepare shipments for online orders daily - Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Requirements: - Prior retail experience preferred - Proficient with email and Microsoft Excel - Willingness to learn and comfort using a computer for basic tasks (no coding knowledge necessary) - Availability to work 20-40 hours per week, including Saturday hours - Ability to lift boxes containing clothing and gear - Strong attention to detail
