As we expand our footprint across leading health systems, we’re seeking a strategic, driven Account Executive to lead territory growth and accelerate adoption of our technology.

Role Overview

The Account Executive (AE) owns the full sales cycle - from lead generation to contract negotiation and implementation. This role demands a consultative, process-driven seller who thrives in complex hospital environments and can articulate Etiometry’s clinical and financial value to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive geographic expansion and account penetration.
  • Lead end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, contracting, and implementation.
  • Navigate hospital purchasing processes, identify decision-makers, and align solutions with clinical and administrative priorities.
  • Deliver Etiometry’s value proposition with clarity and impact - highlighting reductions in ICU length of stay, ventilator time, and improvements in reimbursement and ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor messaging and engage hospital leadership, including physicians, nursing leaders, IT, and C-suite executives.
  • Stay current on Etiometry’s evolving product features and clinical applications.
  • Maintain CRM (Sugar) and reporting tools to track activity, pipeline, and performance metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical environments.
  • Proven success selling into hospitals or health systems, especially within ICU, cardiology, or critical care.
  • Familiarity with clinical decision support, patient monitoring, or digital health platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with strong territory planning and multi-stakeholder navigation skills.
  • Exceptional communicator - comfortable engaging clinicians, administrators, and executives.
  • Self-driven, organized, and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
