Production ManagerJob Summary We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Production Manager to oversee the production process, lead the production team, and ensure efficient, timely delivery of high-quality work. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of production processes, and a focus on meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals. Operations leadership sets company-wide standards for staffing, parts, and quality, and you will work within them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget, with modification jobs delivered without service failure
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet company objectives
  • Supervise and lead the production team, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and efficient, and keep staffing matched to the work available
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control regulations, and company policies, including toolbox talks, incident reporting, and equipment checks
  • Enforce inspection and rework standards so jobs pass the first time, and investigate and document the fix for any service failure
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to keep operations running smoothly
  • Maintain and improve production equipment and machinery to reduce downtime
  • Manage parts and materials inventory to keep sufficient stock for scheduled jobs, and flag shortages early
  • Identify and resolve production issues, including bottlenecks, quality issues, and equipment failures
  • Analyze production data and report on performance, efficiency, costs, job status, labor hours, and billings
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma practices
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to track production performance

What Success Looks Like
