Original job description
Who are we? Equinix is the world’s digital infrastructure company®, shortening the path to connectivity to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet.
A place where bold ideas are welcomed, human connection is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to shape their future.
A career at Equinix means being at the center of shaping what comes next and amplifying customer value through innovation and impact. You’ll work across teams, influence key decisions, and help shape the path forward. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you - because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.
Job Summary Role Summary / Opportunity This is a high-impact, enterprise-critical leadership role sitting at the commercial and strategic centre of a global digital infrastructure business operating at scale across multiple regions and customer segments. As AI workloads and specifically AI inferencing at scale reshape the economics of digital infrastructure, the company requires a pricing leader capable of defining, building, and scaling a world-class pricing and monetization function from first principles, while simultaneously influencing commercial outcomes at the most senior levels of the organisation.
The Global Pricing & Monetization Leader will own how the company prices, packages, commercialises, and captures value across its full portfolio: colocation, interconnection, managed services, and AI/cloud-adjacent offerings. This is not a maintenance role. It requires a builder and transformer, someone who can establish pricing architecture, embed governance and operational cadence, and introduce research-led commercial insight that shapes product strategy, go-to-market execution, and long-term revenue growth.
Scope & Context Digital infrastructure pricing is undergoing a structural shift driven by AI, consumption-based models, and evolving customer expectations around value and flexibility. The successful candidate will design pricing and monetisation strategies that are globally coherent yet regionally precise, and commercially differentiated but executable at scale.
