Van Driver - Senior Center

Position: Senior Center Van Driver Closing Date: Open Until Filled

Do you enjoy helping people, making connections, and being part of your community? The City of Enumclaw is looking for a friendly, dependable, Part-Time Senior Center Van Driver to join the team! This position helps local seniors get where they need to go while providing a welcoming, safe, and positive experience along the way. You’ll have the opportunity to meet wonderful people, build meaningful relationships, and be part of Senior Center activities, outings and special events Under the direction of the Senior Center Manager, you will coordinate daily ride requests and safely transport seniors to destinations within established service boundaries. You’ll play an important role in helping seniors remain active, independent, connected, and involved in their community. • Part-Time, Union, Non-Exempt position
• $22.28 to $27.09 per hour ($1,931.01-2,347.89/month)
• 20 – 25 hours per week
• Regular Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Occasional evenings and weekends
• Benefits: Vacation, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental and Vision. Retirement through DRS, optional Deferred compensation plan and HSA available.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma
• Experience working with seniors is preferred
• Familiarity with a 15-passenger van is preferred
• Experience with organizing/planning events is a plus

LICENSES/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• CDL endorsement is not required, but preferred
• Current CPR/First Aid certificate
