Thank you for considering a career at Ensemble!
Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. They offer end-to-end revenue cycle solutions as well as a comprehensive suite of point solutions to clients across the country.
Ensemble keeps communities healthy by keeping hospitals healthy. We recognize that healthcare requires a human touch, and we believe that every touch should be meaningful. This is why our people are the most important part of who we are. By empowering them to challenge the status quo, we know they will be the difference!
O.N.E Purpose:
- Customer Obsession: Consistently provide exceptional experiences for our clients, patients, and colleagues by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Embracing New Ideas: Continuously innovate by embracing emerging technology and fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation.
- Striving for Excellence: Execute at a high level by demonstrating our “Best in KLAS” Ensemble Difference Principles and consistently delivering outstanding results.
The Opportunity:
By embodying our core purpose of customer obsession, new ideas, and driving innovation, and delivering excellence, you will help ensure that every touchpoint is meaningful and contributes to our mission of redefining the possible healthcare. The Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Ingestion serves as the primary delivery owner and client-facing point of contact for a portfolio of complex, interconnected data ingestion and integration initiatives. This role independently leads programs across multiple clients, platforms, engineering teams, and operational workstreams from intake through production readiness and stabilization, with accountability for technical roadmaps, scope, schedules, releases, risks, dependencies, change control, governance, and delivery outcomes. The Senior Technical Program Manager partners with data engineering, product, operations, security, infrastructure, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical program requirements, assess feasibility and sequencing, resolve cross-project issues, and recommend delivery tradeoffs and corrective actions. Although this role does not perform the technical build directly, it applies strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and data integration concepts - including file feeds, interfaces, APIs, data pipelines, validation, and production readiness - to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and deliver measurable client and operational outcomes.
II. Job Competencies
Collaboration - Works cooperatively within teams and partners with others, both internally and externally as needed, to achieve success; focuses on the results of the team, not the achievements of one person. It's "All for One and One for All."
Communication – Communicates clearly, professionally, and effectively with internal and external stakeholders; listens actively, shares information in a timely manner, and adapts messaging to the audience.
Time Management - Effectively manages personal time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently across multiple concurrent client projects.
Accountability - Accepts personal responsibility and/or consequences of failure and successes, delivering on commitments and refocusing effort when needed.
Developing Trust - Gains others' confidence by acting with integrity and following through on commitments; treats others and their ideas with respect and supports them in the face of challenges.
Takes Initiative - Takes prompt action to accomplish goals and achieve results beyond what is required; is proactive and pursues relentlessly.
Technical Program Management - Independently leads a portfolio of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from strategy and intake through release, production stabilization, and outcome realization; establishes program governance and owns roadmaps, scope, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, change control, executive communication, and delivery tradeo ffs.
III. Essential Job Functions

Serve as the primary program delivery owner and client-facing point of contact for a portfolio of complex, interconnected data ingestion and integration initiatives spanning multiple clients, platforms, engineering teams, and operational workstreams.
Develop and manage integrated technical program roadmaps, milestone plans, release schedules, status dashboards, and governance routines that align cross-project scope, sequencing, resources, deliverables, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Lead cross-functional delivery across clients, data engineering, product, operations, security, infrastructure, architecture, and business teams; coordinate resources, manage technical and operational dependencies, remove blockers, and drive timely decisions without performing the technical build directly.
Establish and lead program governance, operating rhythms, stakeholder forums, and executive steering updates; document decisions and action items and ensure accountable owners complete commitments within agreed timelines.
Translate business objectives into technical program requirements and acceptance criteria for client interfaces, flat file feeds, APIs, data pipelines, validation, security, and production readiness, ensuring alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead intake, technical feasibility assessment, prioritization, and change control for new initiatives and change requests; evaluate architecture, integration, security, infrastructure, resource, and sequencing impacts and facilitate portfolio-level tradeoff decisions.
Apply knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and technical delivery practices to assess client priorities, translate business needs into actionable program requirements, and communicate the operational and client impact of engineering decisions.
Own cross-project RAID management and escalation plans; proactively evaluate risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints across the program and recommend mitigation, contingency, recovery, or reprioritization actions to clients and senior leadership.
Define and monitor program metrics for delivery predictability, implementation timeliness, production readiness, data quality, defect reduction, client satisfaction, and post-launch operational stability; provide executive-level reporting on performance, decisions, variances, resource needs, and recovery plans.
Drive coordinated releases across ingestion workstreams through requirements confirmation, design readiness, testing, validation, production deployment, and stabilization, ensuring technical dependencies are resolved and agreed quality and acceptance criteria are met.
Establish and continuously improve technical program delivery standards, templates, controls, metrics, and governance; promote consistent Agile and software delivery lifecycle practices and provide guidance to project coordinators or less experienced program team members as needed.
Consistently leverage generative AI and productivity tools to streamline coordination, documentation, and communication tasks.
