About Emergence AI

Emergence AI is a frontier agentic AI lab advancing safe, autonomous AI through its pioneering neuroformal architecture. We are building the next generation of enterprise AI: systems capable of understanding complex knowledge, reasoning across information, executing multi-step workflows, and taking action with the verifiability and reliability required for mission-critical environments.

Our Enterprise Agent Platform provides the foundation for building, deploying, and operating AI systems in production - from data connectivity and knowledge management to workflow orchestration, observability, evaluation, and governance. We partner with organizations in semiconductor manufacturing, life sciences, and other data-intensive industries to solve complex challenges that require trusted AI systems capable of operating in real-world environments.

Our team brings experience from leading AI research labs and technology companies, including IBM Research, The Allen Institute for AI, Amazon, and Broadcom. With headquarters in New York and offices across California, Spain, and India, we bring together diverse expertise and perspectives to tackle some of the most challenging problems in enterprise AI.

About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Program Manager to own the operational execution of strategic semiconductor customer engagements, from initial technical engagement and contracting through deployment and successful delivery. This person will work closely with customers, Solutions, Engineering, Sales, Product, Legal, and executive leadership to ensure engagements move quickly, commitments are clear, risks are surfaced early, and SOW deliverables are completed successfully. The ideal candidate has experience delivering enterprise software, AI, analytics, or technical solutions within the semiconductor industry and understands the operational, IT, security, data, and organizational complexities of working with semiconductor customers.

You'll

  • Own customer programs end-to-end, from early technical engagement through contracting, implementation, delivery, and completion.
  • Drive pre-sales execution, including customer meetings, technical workshops, action items, internal follow-ups, proposals, and SOW development.
  • Drive contracting and customer onboarding, coordinating SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, procurement, security, IT, and legal activities and escalating blockers when necessary.
  • Build and maintain program plans, with milestones, owners, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines using Smartsheet or similar tools.
  • Run the customer operating cadence, including weekly customer meetings, internal engineering reviews, stakeholder updates, executive reviews, and action-item tracking.
  • Own execution against the SOW, maintaining detailed awareness of scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, customer dependencies, and committed dates.
  • Manage risks and escalations, proactively identifying technical, resource, deployment, data-access, security, contractual, and customer risks and driving them to resolution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, across Solutions, Engineering, Product, Sales, Legal, Finance, IT/Security, and customer organizations.
  • Manage multiple customer programs simultaneously, and provide leadership with a clear view of customer health, milestones, risks, decisions, and upcoming commitments.

You'll Have

  • Experience managing complex customer-facing technology programs in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience deploying enterprise software, analytics, AI/ML, manufacturing software, or similar technologies into semiconductor environments.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor organizations such as fabs, fabless companies, OSATs, equipment companies, or semiconductor manufacturing and test organizations.
  • Understanding of enterprise deployment considerations including customer IT, information security, data access, infrastructure, cloud and on-premises environments, and IP protection.
  • Experience working with SOWs, MSAs, procurement, legal teams, and enterprise customer contracting processes.
  • Strong ability to work with technical engineering teams while communicating effectively with customer executives and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several complex customer engagements simultaneously and drive execution without direct authority over participating teams.

Emergence AI offers competitive compensation. Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental and vision. 401(k) with company match. Flexible PTO and company holidays. Flexible hybrid/remote work environment. The opportunity to work at the forefront of technological advancement.

Emergence AI is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workplace where people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can do their best work. We believe building trustworthy AI requires diverse ways of thinking, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn just as much as matching every item on a job description.
