Job Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the reliability, safety, and operational readiness of all production equipment, facility systems, and physical plant infrastructure. This position directly supervises a maintenance team, may oversee contracted services providers on-site, and manage a preventive maintenance program. The Maintenance Supervisor will partner closely with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain a safe work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates work, trains, motivates, monitors, and evaluates performance of maintenance personnel; ensures their ability to safely work and operate equipment; counsels, documents, and disciplines as necessary.
· Supervise the Technical Service department employees to oversee maintenance repairs, mold changes and other technical services performed on the shift. The necessary supplies are available, and the repairs are done on a timely basis. · Identify and secure resources for project tasks. · Manage and development schedules to complete projects on time and within budget, while delivering reliable and high-quality results. · Communicate and manage project status and serve as the primary interface with operations when required. · Assist with maintaining the PM/repair database as required by ISO procedures. · Make necessary repairs and coordinate preventive maintenance on the molding machines, support equipment, forklifts, CNC routers, and building / grounds to ensure the continued operability and proper maintenance of all. Ensure all equipment meets OSHA standards for Safety and proper operation. · Responsible for the inspection of new machinery to ensure it has been properly serviced before being put into operation. · Maintain and continue to improve 5S within the facility. · Interact with suppliers to receive the best pricing and quality. · Follows all policies and procedures including safety and conduct standards and ensures the maintenance team also complies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Must have strong skills in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and directing the repair of CNC equipment, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems; required. · MIG and TIG welding experience preferred · Have a solid background in leadership with excellent verbal and written skills. · Self-motivated, take ownership of projects, and work efficiently to meet short timelines. · Must have the ability to drive projects independently. · Proficient computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Work Order system. · Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA general industry standard relevant to manufacturing.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED required · 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required · 3 years of experience supervising a maintenance team preferred
Working Conditions
This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include:
· Ovens · Forklifts · Torches · Rotating tools
Physical Requirements · Must be able to work in a hot environment for extended periods of time. · Must be able to be present in the production area for most of the time. · Require pushing, pulling, sitting, climbing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, walking, gripping, bending, and pull molds that weigh 45+ lbs. · Good vision required with or without corrective device (near, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). · Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes or boots, earplugs, etc. · This role requires a consistent presence in the production area.

Job Type: Full-time Based on experience: Salary Ranges (Yearly) 75k-90k
