Laminator Operator 1st Shift / Shannon

This position is for a Laminator Operator, 1st Shift, with a foam manufactoring company in Shannon, MS. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and Operate/tend machines designed to laminate polyurethane blocks with glue, according to exacting standards of work orders. Operate and perform basic troubleshooting of glue machines. Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laminators and ensure that each machine is properly positioned with material. Follow daily work orders assigned to each lamination crew. Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports all other problems to supervisor. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Machine Set Up (Set up procedures may vary, depending on product and equipment types. Refer to the WI-SOP and JSA for specifics) WI-FAB-087. After equipment has been properly set up, aligned, and tested according to the Work Instructions (WI), the Laminator Machine Operator is responsible for obtaining raw material to begin the lamination process. Foam toppers/pads are placed on the conveyor and fed into the laminator. Used pallets and cardboard must be stacked in an orderly manner when emptied of raw material. Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
