Our client seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support integrations for an AI-enabled employee assistant that helps users find answers, request services, and complete HR tasks. The role focuses on secure, permission-aware solutions across ServiceNow, Workday, Azure Entra ID, and related content systems. You will partner with platform vendors and internal teams to improve reliability, search relevance, and end-user outcomes while scaling to a large global workforce.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $86.96 to $90.31/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain integrations and connectors between Moveworks, ServiceNow, and internal systems. Evaluate out-of-the-box and custom solutions.
- Design identity mapping and SSO flows across Moveworks, ServiceNow, and Azure Entra ID.
- Enforce content permissions at the orchestration layer with ServiceNow as the source of truth.
- Develop and maintain user and group synchronization processes for access control.
- Create Workday queries and integrations to support HR process automation.
- Diagnose and resolve production defects using logs, API traces, and vendor tools.
- Plan and execute deployments, reindexing, and smoke tests across DEV, UAT, and PROD.
- Measure search retrieval and answer quality, and partner with content owners to remediate issues.
- Author technical designs, test plans, and status updates for technical and business audiences.
- Review code and mentor engineers and contract resources.
- Scope and deliver work with vendor partners and systems integrators.
Experience Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 4+ years building enterprise integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth 2.0.
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development including Scripted REST APIs, Glide APIs, ACLs, and Knowledge Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, plus one of Python or Java.
- Experience with SSO and identity protocols such as SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Working knowledge of Azure Entra ID user provisioning and group management.
- Production support experience including incident triage, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
