XILINX: PCIe Lab Technician

Xilinx Data Center group seeks a highly skilled and motivated technician to work in a validation lab environment onsite for 30 hrs/week. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Collaborating with engineers / IT and networking teams to physically setup the environment used for testing, including PCs, FPGA boards, motherboards, test & measurement equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and signal generators), along with installation and configuration of all software used for testing.
• Maintain the systems used for testing, including circuit reworks and hardware changes, software and firmware (BIOS / BMC and other drivers).
• Maintain the inventory.
• Re-configure systems for various test cases including setting up analyzers, boards and other debug equipment.
• Help run test cases according to a defined test-plan, reporting out results to engineering teams
• Maintain the sanctity of the test environment and data integrity, by keeping all testing and maintenance in compliance with the highest safety, security, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Increase the throughput by using automation.
