NETSCOUT SYSTEMS: IT Asset Manager Contractor

Position Summary:

This temporary on-site position will help inventory, manage, and dispose IT equipment (Desktop and Laptops).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile IT inventory
• Identify laptops and desktops destined to recycling, donation, or disposal (ITAD)
• Follow procedures to prepare laptops and desktops for disposal
• Track progress IT ticketing system (Remedyforce) and IT Asset tracking system (Freshservice)
• Devise ways optimize inventory control procedures
• Collaborate with internal employees for proper signoff of documentation related to equipment
• Report to management on status of equipment decommissioning and inventory levels
• Assist with equipment scheduled cycle count
