NETSCOUT: Facilities Supervisor

Supervises facility vendor relationships. Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes HVAC, electrical, mechanical power transmissions, plumbing landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, and cleaning. Strong communication skills. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. A portion of time will be spent performing individual tasks.

• Inspects facilities and generates inspection reports.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with facilities customers.
• Responds quickly during on or off duty hours to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Responds to problems in a tactful and expedient manner.
• Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
• Contracted work includes HVAC, Electrical, Power Generation, Fire and Life Safety, Plumbing, Janitorial, Landscaping, Snow and Ice removal, and Projects.
• Perform assignments in the installation, repair, alteration and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, Electrical, Power Generation, Fire and Life Safety, Plumbing, Carpentry, and minor electrical to include emergency, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Assist with the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric, kitchen equipment and other systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Reviews assigned work orders.Provides quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
• Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
• Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
• Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Repairs plumbing issues such replacing mixing and sloan valves etc.
• Performs welding, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
