MAXIM INTEGRATED: Fab Operator

• Data entry and documentation of processing and shipment of lots
• Using computers for automated processing of product
• Cleaning the work area and complying with Clean Room work rules
• Following all environmental protection, safety and health procedures, reporting accidents and spills promptly, and making recommendations to improve safe work practices
• Maintaining a safe work environment, which includes housekeeping, labeling and proper disposal of waste
• Setting up and operating production equipment; loading and unloading product wafers
• Setting up lot (batch) starts, box washing and microscope inspections

All of these duties are performed in a Clean Room environment. This requires the wearing of a clean room suit, which is a full body jumpsuit, hood, safety glasses, surgical gloves and surgical mask. The environment does not allow the use of makeup, hairspray, hair gel, perfume or cologne.
