Job Description:

Element Staffing is recruiting for Manufacturing Technicians for a growing medical device company in Houston, TX. This role will support the production and testing of medical devices in a cleanroom environment, helping the company transition from clinical trials into process validation and early commercialization. The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with manufacturing engineers, R&D, and operations teams to manufacture devices, perform testing, document processes, and assist across functions as needed. This is a highly visible, hands-on role in a startup-style environment, offering the opportunity to contribute to multiple aspects of production and product development.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform cleanroom-based manufacturing of medical devices following approved procedures and work instructions
• Operate 3D printing equipment and perform post-processing of polymer-based medical devices
• Conduct dimensional inspections and mechanical testing, including tensile testing of finished devices
• Package and label finished devices, including tray sealing, pouch sealing, and packaging verification testing
• Document all production activities using travelers and production documentation
• Support process validation and early commercialization efforts
• Assist with technical documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and receiving documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, operations, engineering, R&D, and quality
• Support R&D activities as needed, including degradation testing, shelf-life testing, and gel fraction analyses
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom protocols, quality standards, and company safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Years of Experience: 3+ years preferred in manufacturing, laboratory, or technical roles

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field preferred

Shift/Travel: M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | On-site

Compensation: $26–$32/hr DOE

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire
