About Electronics Professionals

Electronics Professionals, LLC is a locally owned technology integration company specializing in custom residential and commercial automation, lighting control, audio/video, networking, security, and smart home solutions. Our team takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who is mechanically inclined, has a good head on their shoulders, and is willing to learn.

This is an entry-level, hands-on position for someone interested in getting into the home automation and low-voltage technology industry. You do not need previous experience with smart home systems. We are willing to train the right person.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with installations, running wire, preparing job sites, installing equipment, and learning how today's smart homes operate.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a career in technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians with residential and commercial installations.
  • Pull, route, organize, and terminate low-voltage wiring.
  • Assist with installation of speakers, televisions, cameras, access points, and other electronic equipment.
  • Help install and support smart lighting and automated control systems.
  • Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Follow instructions, safety procedures, and installation standards.
  • Learn to identify equipment, wiring, and basic system components.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and service calls as skills develop.

Qualifications

  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to work.
  • Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to follow directions and learn new skills.
  • Comfortable working with hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, lifts, and other job-site environments.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment and materials.
  • Professional attitude and respectful communication.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience

Previous experience is helpful but not required.

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Low-voltage wiring or electrical work.
  • Construction or general contracting.
  • Audio/video installation.
  • Home theater installation.
  • Networking or computer technology.
  • Security and surveillance systems.
  • Smart home automation or lighting control.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience: $12–$24 per hour.
  • On-the-job training with experienced technicians.
  • Opportunities for manufacturer training and industry certifications.
  • Room for advancement as skills and experience develop.
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career in a growing technology field.

The Right Candidate

We aren't necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything. We're looking for someone who shows up, pays attention, thinks through problems, takes pride in their work, and wants to learn.

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, have an interest in technology, and aren't afraid of a little hard work, we'd like to hear from you.
