We are designing the grid of the future!

As a Marketing & Communications Associate II at Electric Power Engineers (EPE), you will play an integral role in independently executing marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen EPE's brand, support business development, and contribute to company growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced marketing professional who can manage multiple projects, develop compelling content, collaborate effectively with business units and technical subject matter experts, and use performance data to improve marketing effectiveness.

Working closely with Marketing leadership and cross-functional partners, you will take ownership of assigned initiatives from planning through execution and measurement, ensuring high-quality deliverables, consistent branding, and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

How you can make an impact:

Marketing Campaign & Project Management

  • Independently plan, coordinate, and execute assigned marketing and communications initiatives, managing multiple concurrent campaigns, events, or content workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are completed on time and meet established objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership on campaign planning, audience targeting, channel selection, and promotional activities.
  • Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and proactively recommend solutions or adjustments to maintain progress.
  • Prepare post-campaign and post-event recaps, documenting results, key takeaways, and opportunities for improvement.

Content Development & Brand Management

  • Develop and refine marketing content, including case studies, thought leadership materials, presentations, website content, email campaigns, social media posts, and sales enablement collateral.
  • Work directly with business unit leaders and technical subject matter experts to translate complex engineering and energy-related information into compelling, audience-appropriate content.
  • Coordinate the development of customized messaging for business unit initiatives, leadership communications, and marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the production of assigned marketing materials using approved design tools and templates, ensuring quality and consistency with EPE's brand standards.
  • Review content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established brand, technical, and approval requirements.

Business Unit Support

  • Partner with Business Development, Operations, and technical teams to understand business priorities and execute marketing initiatives that support growth objectives.
  • Coordinate marketing support for conferences, trade shows, webinars, awards, and other industry engagement opportunities.
  • Create social media schedule, post content, monitor and respond to posts, and assist with generating ideas for posting on social media sites.
  • Develop and assist with presentation materials and content that are visually appealing.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, collateral and giveaways.
  • Support proactive storytelling, messaging, brand and leadership positioning initiatives.
  • Engage with internal and external Marketing & Communications consultants/support resources as applicable to advance marketing goals and complete deliverables.
  • Support market research efforts; help monitor for and identify industry or marketing trends and/or available data that may present opportunities to EPE from a business perspective.
  • Develop and execute assigned digital marketing activities, including email campaigns, social media content, website updates, and paid advertising support.
  • Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, industry trends, and relevant market opportunities to inform marketing activities.
  • Provide recommendations to improve marketing materials, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness based on stakeholder feedback and industry best practices.

Marketing Analytics & Performance

  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics across digital campaigns, email marketing, events, social media, and website activity.
  • Leverage marketing platforms, including HubSpot, Salesforce, and reporting tools, to support campaign execution, data accuracy, lead management, and performance reporting.
  • Prepare marketing performance summaries, highlighting results, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use campaign insights and stakeholder feedback to recommend tactical changes that improve engagement, marketing effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, project coordination, content development, and reporting efficiency.
