Original job description

Help make someone’s day brighter…..Join our “Hospitality Core Team” as a Server!

At Egg Harbor, we are committed to building an ever-growing base of regular customers in the communities that we serve. We do this by maintaining our standard of excellence, providing a warm and family-friendly atmosphere, and serving a wide variety of food. As part of our team, you will be integral in our goal. When asked “Where should we go to eat?” We want Egg Harbor to be the first and unanimous answer. You are integral in us achieving this goal. You will work as part of a team, having new and inspiring interactions with guests and team members alike daily. All this leading to both you and our customers leaving Egg Harbor every day feeling fulfilled, accomplished, and excited to return tomorrow.

Shifts start and end early, so you’ll never work at night. Scheduling is generally flexible if you understand that our busiest days are on the weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

If you are someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, is responsible, trustworthy, prompt, reliable, and self-motivated, then you would be a great fit for the Egg Harbor Café Team. Servers at Egg Harbor Café are motivated to provide an exceptional experience for our guests utilizing our proven team-based system that is built on the belief that Together Everyone Achieves More.

To do well at Egg Harbor Café, you would be someone who has a positive attitude, is flexible, energetic, dedicated to achieving goals, energized in the morning, genuinely enjoys being around people, motivated to learn and grow, honest, and has great work ethic.

In addition, our Servers:

Support fellow team members at every opportunity and believe in the power of teamwork
Treat customers and team with kindness and respect
Look presentable
Are well-organized, keeping track of each table, remembering orders, and staying focused
Ring orders using a POS tablet directly at the table
Know the menu inside and out
Want to make sure the guest experience is the very best

Please Note: Candidates selected for this position will be required to obtain a Georgia Alcohol Server & Seller Certification and an Alcohol Pouring Permit prior to or within a designated timeframe following their start date. By applying, applicants acknowledge this requirement and confirm they meet the eligibility criteria to obtain these certifications.

Perks of the Job:

Flexible schedule, holiday bonus, PTO, employee scholarship program, meal discounts, shifts end early (restaurant closes at 2pm), family owned (never franchised), employee assistance program, etc
