PositionSummary:

AsaProjectEngineeratEbyConstruction,youwillplayakeyroleinsupportingon-siteprojectexecutionbyoverseeingprojectadministration,scheduling,andengineeringactivities.Inthisrole,youwillplan,coordinate,andmanagedailyconstructionengineeringeffortswhilecollaboratingcloselywiththeProjectManagerandJobSuperintendent.Youwillserveasacentralpointofcoordinationonthejobsite,ensuringefficientprojectoperations,clearcommunication,andalignmentwithprojectgoalsforsafety,quality,andtimelycompletion.

EssentialFunctions:

• Reliableandpunctualattendance
• Manages,trainsandleadsallengineersonproject
• Coordinateswiththesuperintendenttodeveloptheprojectscheduleincludingequipmentandmaterialrequirements
• PreparesprojectbudgetandcostreportingdatawiththeapprovalofthePM
• Processshopdrawings,submittals,andexpeditematerialdeliveries
• Prepareconstructiondrawingsdewatering,excavation,form,lift,line,erection,other
• Estimateandprocessallchangeordersandrequestsforinformation
• AssisttheProjectManagementandEstimatingteamwithbuy-outandwritingofpurchaseordersandsubcontracts
• Accumulateallnecessarydata,recordingofquantities,preparationofrequireddocumentationandfollow-uptoensurepaymentpercontract

AdditionalRequirements:

Followinganinterviewandjoboffer,candidatesmustpassapre-employmentphysicalanddrugscreenandprovideI-9documentation,whichwillbeprocessedthroughE-Verify.SomeEbyclientsmayalsorequirebackgroundchecksbeforeallowingworkersontheirprojects.

This position requires the ability to perform tasks using appropriate methods and procedures based on skill level, along with a strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, expediting, contract documents, estimating, and tracking labor, materials, and costs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competencies aligned with both field and office engineering functions and have 46 years of ?practical construction experience.
