Original job description

For more than 35 years, EBI Consulting has helped clients solve complex challenges and unlock greater value from their assets. What sets us apart is not only the depth of our technical expertise, but also the breadth of services we provide across the entire building and asset lifecycle. We take the time to understand each client’s unique goals, delivering tailored solutions, actionable insights, and customized reporting that go beyond what traditional environmental and engineering consulting firms typically offer. Whether our clients are acquiring, developing, operating, or divesting assets, they rely on EBI as a trusted partner to reduce risk, navigate complexity, and maximize long-term value.

Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking an ALTA Survey Program Manager to lead the delivery and growth of its ALTA/NSPS land title survey services. This role supports multiple EBI practices, including Real Estate Traditional, Agency (Fannie/Freddie & HUD), and Acquisition Services. The Program Manager oversees projects from pricing through delivery, builds strong relationships with clients and survey vendors, and helps EBI serve as a trusted advisor on survey scope, schedules, and risk.

This position reports directly to the Senior Operations Director and is a work from home position with some infrequent on-site field requirements (~5%). Candidates therefore need to have an established home office already with demonstrable success to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Procurement to expand EBI’s network of qualified ALTA survey vendors and maintain current vendor contracts and system records.
  • Select approved vendors based on project scope, geographic coverage, availability, quality, cost, and target margins. Build productive relationships, monitor performance and client satisfaction, and address concerns with Procurement when vendors fall short of EBI’s standards.
  • Educate business developers, account managers, and other client-facing teams on the value of ALTA/NSPS surveys and the 2026 ALTA/NSPS standards; support market visibility through relevant industry events and thought leadership.
  • Develop and execute a growth plan to increase annual ALTA Survey gross revenue with specific annual targets expected
  • Manage incoming ALTA survey requests across EBI practices, confirming scope, required documents, and timing and providing pricing and schedules to internal teams and clients.
  • Manage assignments from authorization through delivery and closeout, including vendor engagement, purchase orders and receipts, document distribution, fieldwork coordination with project coordinators, and schedule tracking.
  • Review survey deliverables for completeness and alignment with the agreed scope; coordinate corrections, clarifications, and revisions with vendors, clients, counsel, and internal teams.
  • Prioritize competing deadlines and proactively communicate project status, missing information, schedule changes, and delivery risks while maintaining timely, accurate service and strong client relationships.
  • Manage practice financial performance, including project margins and overall profitability.

Qualifications and Capabilities

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • At least five years of combined experience in surveying, construction, property due diligence, ALTA survey project management, or a related field
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, competing, demanding projects, clients (internal and external) and deadlines at once
  • A client-focused approach, sound judgment and discernment, and clear written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to develop vendor relationships, address performance issues, and coordinate work across departments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues while keeping projects moving
  • Ability to discern priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ALTA/NSPS land title surveys and professional services operations
  • Experience with Salesforce and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  • Knowledge of environmental due diligence, architecture, or engineering preferred
