Original job description

Join a leading electronics manufacturer in Devens, where every circuit board that passes inspection goes on to power real products. As a Quality Inspector, you're the last line of defense before a board moves forward, so your eye for detail directly protects product quality. It's a great fit if you want steady, ongoing work and the chance to grow your skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

~ Inspect in-process and finished assemblies and sub-assemblies at each stage of production to confirm they meet quality standards. ~ Spot defects using magnification, lot sampling, first article checks, and AOI (automated optical inspection) machines. ~ Accept or reject product by following visual aids, engineering change notices, and written procedures. ~ Record pass or fail results for each board in the MES (manufacturing execution system). ~ Follow all safety, health, and security procedures under the direction of your supervisor.

Qualifications

~ High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of experience in a relevant production position. ~ QC certification, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. ~ Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 12 hours, and speak, read, and understand English.

Preferred ~ Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing, or a degree in a related field.

Why Join Us ~ Two days on, two days off with 12-hour shifts, so you're in the building fewer days each week. ~ Ongoing assignment for steady, reliable work. ~ Hands-on experience with AOI machines and MES systems in electronics manufacturing. ~ Access to Eastridge benefits while on assignment.

Shift/Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Two days on, two days off, every other weekend (Friday - Sunday). 36 hours in week one, 48 hours in week two.
