Laborer/Materials Placement Specialist

Job Title: Laborer/Materials Placement Specialist Location: Sidney, MT Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $18-25 DOE Benefits: To be discussed at time of interview About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable full-time Laborer/Materials Placement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair building frameworks such as walls, floors, doors, and windows
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Install cabinetry, trim, molding, and other finish carpentry elements
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect and repair damaged structures
• Ensure work complies with building codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and other trades
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry or construction experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
• Strong measurement and basic math skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
