Long-term Substitute Math Teacher

Position: Long-term Substitute - Math Teacher, Grade 6 Location: Roosevelt Middle School

Starting Date: November 18, 2026 Salary: $160 for the first 10 days; $290.81 starting the 11th day

Qualifications:

a) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) b) Successful classroom teaching experience in a Middle School preferred.

Job Duties:

The teacher will instruct three sections of advanced math, and work cooperatively with other classroom teachers, the Student Services Team and support area staff. He/she will be responsible for the supervision and management of the classes while effectively teaching the curriculum to meet the individual needs of students, evaluating individual progress, and communicating progress with students and parents.
