We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team at a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Assist in inventory management and food storage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent physical coordination and manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication. Courteous and Guest First attitude. Team player. High energy level; stamina; handles pressure well. Dependable and reliable. Flexible schedule, when necessary. Personal cleanliness. Able to read and write in English. Able to read recipes and other instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 25 pounds. Good sense of balance. Able to climb ladders and stairs, reach, kneel and bend. Stamina; able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for several hours at a time.
