Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve supplies from storerooms and maintain a clean, organized housekeeping cart
• Clean windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and public areas, including hard to reach spaces
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Replace towels, amenities, and guestroom supplies; restock literature and stationery
• Wash hard floor surfaces by hand to remove dirt and stains
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, vents, and ceiling corners
• Strip and remake beds with fresh linens; inspect bedding and mattresses for cleanliness
• Clean and restock closets with hangers, blankets, and pillows
• Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public areas; move furniture as needed
• Inspect locks, equipment, and room features; report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain custody of keys, equipment, and supplies at all times
• Report missing items, damage, or safety hazards to the Supervisor
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
• Follow all Hilton brand standards, A&R policies, and safety procedures
• Serve as a Brand Ambassador for A&R Group's culture, mission, and values
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic English comprehension for labels, instructions, and guest interactions
• Ability to work in a fastpaced, highpressure environment
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
• Professional, ethical, and reliable
• Excellent customer service skills
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
