Forklift Driver

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload lumber and materials throughout the yard or production area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move lumber, pallets, and other materials.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Stack and organize materials in the yard or warehouse.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
• Assist with other yard or mill duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lift heavy materials.
• Strong attention to safety, surroundings, and load balance.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
