Client Services & Scheduling Coordinator – Part-Time

Dog Gone Problems | Omaha, NE | $20–$25 per hour | On-Site

Join a locally owned company where your experience matters.

Dog Gone Problems is seeking an experienced, dependable office professional to manage customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and help clients get the services they need.

We're an established Omaha dog training and behavior company with a strong reputation for customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a busy medical, dental, veterinary, or other appointment-based office and enjoys helping customers over the phone.

Professional experience scheduling customer, patient, or client appointments using computerized scheduling software is required.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries.

• Schedule dog training and behavior appointments using our booking software.

• Explain available services and help customers select the appropriate appointment.

• Follow up with prospective clients and outstanding callbacks.

• Maintain accurate customer records, appointment details, and CRM notes.

• Handle cancellations, rescheduling, and schedule changes.

• Coordinate with our field trainers and other booking staff.

• Keep the booking process organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Previous professional office experience booking customer, patient, or client appointments.

• Experience using computerized scheduling or practice-management software.

• Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and dependable follow-through.

• Ability to learn new software and follow established procedures.

• Ability to work on-site in Omaha during the listed schedule.

Especially relevant experience:

• Medical or dental reception

• Veterinary front desk

• Patient scheduling

• Appointment-based service businesses

• Professional customer service or scheduling offices

Please note: Experience managing employee shifts, personal calendars, or general retail customer service alone does not satisfy our professional appointment-scheduling requirement.

Our Culture & Core Values

At Dog Gone Problems, we're passionate about helping dogs and the people who love them. We believe great dog training starts with understanding, patience, education, and positive reinforcement. Those same principles guide how we treat our clients and each other.

Our five core values are:

• Positive: We approach challenges with a constructive attitude and focus on solutions.

• Empathetic: We listen, understand, and treat people and dogs with compassion.

• Accountable: We take ownership of our responsibilities, follow through, and do what we say we'll do.

• Educational: We believe in continuous learning and helping others understand the why behind what we do.

• Communicative: We communicate clearly, respectfully, and proactively with clients and teammates.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs, believes in our mission, shares our values, and takes pride in helping people. The right candidate will bring professional scheduling experience along with the compassion, reliability, and positive attitude that make our team special.
