Integration Test & Validation Engineer - Retrofit Technology Systems Mossville, IL | Full-Time

Position Overview The Integration Test & Validation Engineer - Retrofit Technology Systems provides software and hardware test support for retrofit and aftermarket technology kit projects, partnering with team leads and fellow engineers to complete daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and assemble wiring harnesses
  • Integrate and fabricate electrical hardware
  • Set up test equipment for bench and on-machine testing
  • Build demonstration kits
  • Provide test-track and field support

Team & Work Environment

  • The manager assigns projects to team leads, who delegate work tasks to engineers
  • Highly collaborative setting with one to two team meetings per day and regular one-on-one meetings
  • Work is split between an office, a lab equipped with hand tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) benches, and proving grounds with hands-on machine and equipment testing

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2–4 years of experience
  • Hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly experience
  • Software regression testing experience
  • Machine operating experience (commercial, industrial, agricultural, etc.)
  • Software test plan creation
  • Camera/detection technology development and validation
  • Ability to present technical problems and solutions
