Hidden Valley Eye Care, a growing family practice in Draper, UT, is seeking a full-time Optician to support our doctor and work closely with patients. Competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Use Electronic Medical Records to record exams, materials, etc.
- Pre-test patients
- Assist patients in selecting frames and provide spectacle lens packages/quotes
- Take measurements to ensure correct lens fabrication
- Teach new contact lens wearers insertion and removal techniques
- Order and dispense contact lenses and spectacles
- Adjust frames
- Schedule appointments
- Verify vision insurance and submit claims
- Tag new inventory
- Perform light cleaning
- Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- ABO certification and optical experience are a plus but not required
