Group Coordinator Lead - Building Maintenance

Position: First Shift Core. Group Lead Coordinator

Shift: 8a-430p, Monday to Friday

Pay: $24.50 Per Hour

About the Role:

• Lead and support site-based Building Maintenance associates in daily maintenance activities.
• Perform general building and facility maintenance, including water, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and facility repairs as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Perform maintenance on material handling equipment to support operational uptime.
• Conduct carpentry and facility repairs on floors, walls, doors, and related structures.
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
• Respond to security and alarm calls as necessary.
• Complete maintenance reports and documentation for all completed tasks.
• Support management with special projects and additional maintenance responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Qualifications and Information:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, lift, and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Follow all site safety policies, OSHA requirements, and MSDS standards as applicable.
• Work around moving equipment and machinery while adhering to proper safety procedures.
• May be exposed to hazardous materials in the course of assigned duties.
• Maintain strong working relationships with operations leadership and site associates.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for supporting and leading specified group of individuals in the warehouse/clerical setting. Provides daily direction and guidance to the work group. Trains new associates in identified work group.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
