We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a C.N.A. on our Direct Support team, you will help residents build independence in daily life. You will also support nursing staff with vitals and medical appointments. Your work protects resident safety, dignity, and rights. We pay for your training, and pay increases at 6, 12, and 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily living: cooking, cleaning, laundry, grooming, and self-administration of medication
  • Carry out behavioral supports and help residents access the community
  • Take resident vitals as directed by nursing staff
  • Assist with medical appointments as needed
  • Use safety procedures and equipment (gait belts, gloves, masks, seat belts) and make sure others do too
  • Advocate for residents’ rights, dignity, and privacy
  • Report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment immediately. If in doubt, report.
  • Notify a supervisor right away of any condition that could create an unsafe situation (injury, illness, intoxication)

Support needs vary by home, department, and resident. The full job description is available on request.

Requirements

  • Valid C.N.A. certification in the State of Idaho
  • Age 18 or older
  • Ability to pass a Health and Welfare background check and a drug screen, and to maintain a drug-free workplace
  • Ability to complete paid training classes within 90 days of hire
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift or move 50 pounds
  • To drive for the company: age 21 or older, clean driving record, and valid insurance

Schedule

  • Weekend days: 7a–3p or 8a–4p
  • Evenings: 3p–9p or 4p–12a
  • Set shift assigned at hire. Any change is arranged with your supervisor.
  • Online schedule available 24/7
  • Part-time, 16–40 hours per week. Full-time available on request.
  • High need for weekend staff

Pay

  • $19 per hour, depending on department
