Sr. Software Engineer

Job Duties

We are seeking a Senior Software Test Automation / HIL Engineer to develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments, build advanced Python automation solutions, and drive system-level testing strategies for complex Medical Device products.

Top Required Skills

• Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing: Experience designing, implementing, and supporting HIL test systems integrating hardware, simulation, and automation.
• Python Automation Development: Strong hands-on experience building automation frameworks, test tools, simulation software, and automated test suites.
• Systems Testing & Quality: Experience defining test strategies and validating complex systems to ensure performance, reliability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HIL test environments for system-level verification.
• Create and enhance Python-based automation frameworks, test tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve product testability, validation, and overall quality.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring while supporting cross-functional projects.

Minimum Education Required

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD in a related field.

• Experience with automated testing, simulation environments, and software development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
